New work will be posted soon...
In the meantime, take a look at past work and be inspired to make your own.

The Goldfish quilt was my first quilt and was made on an old Kenmore machine with lots of buttons and dials. I used all the gizmos like buttonhole stitch and hem stitch in ways that they weren't supposed to be used because I'd never played with a sewing machine before.
The wavy background became and ocean. Why wavy? Because to this day I still can't sew a straight line - if you have lemons, make lemonade..
Here's a detail showing how these stitches  were used.

Lots of fun. Pick a number on a dial and twist the width dial back and forth at ramdom. Same thing for the tension button - if you turn it one way you get a nice puffy effect and a pinched effect the other way. Not recommended to be tried on expensive new machines!

Here's a few more photos of other quilting fun I've had. The two near the bottom have copper sewn onto them. My full size quilts will be finished and photographed for the website as time and 'Real Job" allows.
Enjoy the pictures and break some rules! - Tana Clarke
