Are you stuck and can't get through
to Ed Lawrence? Don't worry, I like a challenge so send me your
question and I'll do my best to help you out!
Why ask me? Because you can! I live in Kingston Ontario and grow many kinds of plants that are zone 4 up to zone 6b so I can help with plant problems and questions if you garden with similar zones. I can also help with some tropical indoor plants, bugs, diseases, greenhouse plants and general wildlife and bird questions. If I don't know the answer, don't worry, I'll tell you but I've got a huge library to go through first so be patient and we'll get you the right answer somehow! I also work at a garden centre and have lots of bright minds there that I can enlist if you stump me with your question. Payment? All I ask is for you to make a small donation if you're able to or a thank you note and a photo of your garden - no obligation! Payment could even be a cutting or some seeds of your favourite plant. That's a form of payment that keeps on giving! Just remember that plants aren't allowed to go across our US/Canada borders without phyto-certificates etc, but seeds are fine if you're not in Canada. Why am I doing this? I like to learn about plants and I like to make new gardeners happy and confident or old gardeners relaxed like they should be. The world always needs more happy gardeners.
